KartSport Mt Wellington announces new Club President, and 2010/2011 committee
At the recent KartSport Mt Wellington AGM, club members duly elected Mr Rod Gabb as the new KSMW Club President, and committee.
New President Rod Gabb is excited about the year ahead for KartSport Mt Wellington and looks forward to working with ALL club members in addressing the challenges that lie ahead.
"I wish to thank on behalf of all KSMW members, immediate past President, Peter Wrightson, for his strong leadership of KSMW over the last 12 months.

KartSport Mt Wellington's 50th Anniversary in Full Swing! Plans for Mt Wellington's 50th dinner and dance are now in full swing. The dinner and dance is confirmed for the 2nd October. Mark this date on your calendars now !!! Nicole Kelley is currently building a database of members past and present so we can fully inform and invite everyone who at some stage over the past 50 years has been involved with Kartsport Mt Wellington. If you know of any past members or person's who would like to be included please phone or email Nicole their information so we can ensure we have everybody's contact details... Also please pull out your memorabilia.... There must be thousand's of photo's and magazines stashed away. We will treat them with the utmost care - scan them and return them. Our 50th Dinner and dance promises to be a spectacular event but we need your help.... Casual Track Use and Key Hire
The track is available for hire for both club members and casual karters. The track hours are 9.00 am to 6 pm in summer and up to 5 pm in winter.
Karters using the track must comply with Club Rules and KartSport rules at all times. Enjoy and look after the facility. Keys are available from all Kart Shops.
Please note that Club members are entitled to hire track keys for private practice on an annual basis. These are available from Cunningham Construction - 11 Forge Way, Panmure. See Anna with proof of membership. Costs are $150 per year plus $50 deposit for key. All normal conditions of track hire apply including apparel and non-mixing of classes. Practice fees are $10 for club members per day and $20 for non club members. The key is for the hirers use only and is not to be lent to other karters whether they are members or not.
