| Karting Moments |
When I first started in JR I went up for a practise and it was hosing down with rain. My dad stood at the end of the sweeper at mt welly and waved his arm meaning to get it a bit sideways, I misunderstood this and thought he meant to hold it flat so I did and not even making it a 1/8 round the bend. I was at the top of the hill in the fence. Last year was great when I got offered a drive in Paul Spicers Gearbox as he broke his ribs after the first round of the 125 National series, I completed the rest of the rounds missing the 1st but managed to place 6th overall in the series. Paul then said I could race his kart at the North Islands where I got 2nd in Open and 5th in 125 National. | |
